Daphine Polish & Bumblesoaps!

I've mentioned my addiction to Bumblesoaps a few times before on this blog. :) They are an awesome indie bath & body company... which I am addicted to!

In February, Daphine Polish, and Bumblesoaps did a collaboration. Daphine Polish created colors to compliment some of Bumblesoaps scents. (The nail polish is scented too!) Each set came with a nail polish, and 2 or 3 Bumblesoaps products. There are 7 different colors in the collaboration collection. I ordered Twilight Nights, and Sweater Weather.

While you can no longer order the nail polish sets with the bath products. You can find the colors for sale individually on Daphine Polish, and you can also find products in these scents for sale on Bumblesoaps.

Forever Polished Mani Bombs.

I've been seeing Forever Polished brand popping up everywhere lately. In Facebook groups, in photos on Instagram, blog reviews. Her mani bombs are super popular and in high demand lately. I was lucky enough to grab a few to try in her last restock.

I'm a sucker for floral scents, so I ordered the Coconut Lavender Love Spell Mani Crumbles, Rose Bud Crumbles, Rose Garden Mani Bomb, and a Mystery Bomb. (The mystery bomb I received smells like vanilla bean). I also received a sample mani bomb in Bora Bora scent.

My addiction to Bumblesoaps continues! I wanted to share some more products I've gotten recently, with all of you.

My new addiction: Bumblesoaps

*Please Note: Bumblesoaps will be closed until end of January 2015, due to the owner moving.

I have a bad, bad addiction to bath productsLush, L'Occitane, Fortune Cookie Soap, Pig  & The Peacock, KB Shimmer, and now... Bumblesoaps! My cousin had raved to me how awesome the whipped soaps are from Bumblesoaps, and how great the customer service is. And, Jennifer from Peer Pressure Polish had also mentioned to me how awesome Bumblesoaps is. (Check her blog out, she has some Bumble reviews up too). I placed my first order a few weeks ago, (which *ahem* may have quickly been followed by a second order).

Bumblesoaps, also stole my heart forever. They recently came out with the scent Hedonic Tonic(a dupe, if not a better dupe- for Polyjuice Potion from Fortune Cookie Soap. It's much sweeter and fruitier). I love this scent! The body butter is lightly scented, while the lotion bar is more concentrated.

My Addiction with Fortune Cookie Soap

*Disclaimer: Due to FCS moving to a new warehouse,  and not having the amount of staff for demand, their shipping  has been taking 2+ weeks. Just wanted my readers to be aware.

My addiction to Fortune Cookie Soap, is actually a pretty old one. (I gave away a FCS giftcard on this blog back in the day. I may have to do that again sometime *wink*). And yes, true to their name they actually have soap shaped like fortune cookies, and you get a "fortune" in your cookie too. :-p

For my birthday in September, my cousin down in Georgia sent me some Fortune Cookie Soap goodies. I had forgotten how much I loved them. I placed an order myself shortly after. My cousin sent me soap, and a gift set of their little whipped cream body lotions. Butterbeer and Polyjuice Potion (Yay, Harry Potter!) are my favorite. I'm obsessed with those scents!

Weekend Getaway!

F.B. & I decided to have a little "staycation" getaway. Saturday into Sunday we checked into the Hyatt at the Bellevue in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square section. The hotel was just two blocks down from the Academy of Music. I found a nice rate on our room on Agoda.com

Check in was at 3pm on Saturday. We took the train down to Suburban Station. We got downtown around 2pm, so we decided to walk around a little bit. We checked out The Shops at Liberty Place. It's a small mall right near City Hall.

There was a Starbucks downstairs inside the hotel! They also had a Tiffany & Co, Williams & Sonoma and some other shops downstairs.

We headed to dinner after checking in. We ate at Ruby Tuesday at Liberty Place. Then walked around a little after dinner. And I got some Starbucks when we got back to the hotel, hehe.

Art school across the street from the hotel. We could see ballerina's practicing in the studio from the sidewalk. :)

Check out was at 12pm. I forgot to take pictures of us when we came back to the hotel after dinner, I was tired. lol. So that's why my hair is wet here.

We checked out shops on Chestnut Street & Walnut Street after checking out. Walnut Street has a bunch of high end shops. The one I really wanted to stop at was L'Occitane!

My loot from L'Occitane! Almond soap, Verbena soap, Almond oil body wash, Verbena hand lotion, Almond lotion, Rose solid perfume.

We decided to head to 30th Street Station to take the train back home. It was sunny, but very cold and windy out! We walked from Broad St all the way to 30th Street Station.

I got a cute Philadelphia tote bag for work and a metal city souvenir from the book shop inside 30th Street Station. Yeah... playing tourist in my own city again, lol. Ever since my office moved downtown back in December 2010 and I've been riding the trains. I've definitely been checking out more of downtown Philadelphia than ever before.

F.B. tired on the train home.
Me waiting in the car, while F.B. get Wendy's for dinner!
We had a really nice weekend. But boy with all that walking, we are exhausted!

P.S. This was the note F.B. left on my coffee cup and I found when I got to work Thursday morning. (I make my coffee at home in the morning and my travel tumbler goes into my work bag until I get to work).
