Nires Desire: Jezebel & Anam Cara.

I actually picked up these polishes quite a few months ago. Bad me... they were in my untrieds pile. Nire's Desire, Jezebel and Anam Cara.

Anam Cara, is a bright purple (sometimes blurple), with green shimmer. Opaque in two coats. Really nice smooth formula. Accent nail is stamped with Konad White, and Born Pretty Store stamp plate: QA76. Seche Vite topcoat.

Jezebel is a deep reddish pink, holographic polish. This is pretty much a one coater formula, though you can do two coats if you want. Applies very smoothly. Accent nail is stamped with Konad White, and Born Pretty Store stamp plate: QA76. I used Seche Vite topcoat.

Oyster Books: App Review

Note: Oyster Books service is being discontinued January 2016. They are no longer accepting new subscribers. And all service will cease come January. Unfortunately this means I will have to find another e-book subscription service. I've absolutely loved the year and a half I've been subscribed to Oyster, I used it more than Netflix. I'm voracious reader. I go through 3+ books a week. I will be trying out Scribd's e-book service soon, and I'll let you all know how that is.

After my disappointing 30 day trial with Kindle Unlimited (I found it too limited). I decided to try Oyster Books. You also get a free 30 day trial, but the difference is Oyster has A LOT of books. And A LOT of popular titles to choose from. It's like the "Netflix" of books, literally. Also, if any of your friends sign up with your link, you both get a $15 credit, which they will deduct from each month, instead of charging your credit card. Normally it's $9.99 a month, which is not bad considering you can read any book, anytime.

Also, what's great is once you've already downloaded a book on Oyster Books, even if you're not connected to the internet, you can still read it. You only have to be connected to the internet to browse for books, and download. You read the books within the Oyster App. It still lets you change the font, font size, and background color. It automatically remembers where in the book you left off.

Use my Link HERE to sign up for your free 30 day trial,
and both of us will get a $15 credit towards another free month!

There a ton of different genres to choose from.

Polish Me Silly: Paradise

I have a HUGE weakness for anything multi chrome. I saw a photo of 'Paradise' on Polish Me Silly's Instagram... and I needed it. :) (My wallet hates Instagram!)

Paradise was a limited edition color from Polish Me Silly's new Mega Multichrome Collection. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing it in stock at their Etsy shop, and I'm not sure if it will be re-stocked. So please don't hurt me for sharing this gorgeous color with all of you! :-p

Paradise shifts from Purple, Pink, Blue, Aqua, Red, Yellow. Ack... I love it! The color shift is really strong too. In normal light you mostly see the Pink, Purple, Aqua. No undies needed for this polish either. 3 coats and you are good to go. I used Seche Vite topcoat.

Literary Lacquers: Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster

I've been in love with Literary Lacquers Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster (that's a tongue twister, huh?), ever since I saw The Mercurial Magpie swatch it last year. It's been on my lemming list for awhile, and I finally got around to purchasing it.

Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster is a gorgeous turquoise green linear holographic polish, with little holographic glitters, that make it look like it's twinkling. This is 2 coats, plus Seche Vite. Formula was nice and thin, applies smoothly, and dries pretty fast too.

Do you know what really it reminds me of though? Something from my childhood! Anyone remember the sparkling star shaped Colgate Junior toothpaste?! I always wondered how the heck that toothpaste sparkled! :-p

Nautical Nails with Zoya Ryan

✯ PR Sample's Mentioned ✯

When I reviewed the Zoya Entice Collection, my first thought of Zoya Ryan was... I want to do nautical nails! It's just the perfect deep dark navy blue. But sadly... I didn't have any stamp plates like that.

A few weeks ago, I recently placed an order to the Born Pretty Store for some nail stickers, brushes, stamp plates, etc. (You'll be seeing those other goodies soon!) QA5 was one of the plates I ordered, because it has anchors, and a pirate theme. I'm really happy with the BPS stamp plates. I reviewed one they sent me, and I purchased three myself this time. The etching is good and they stamp perfect.

I used 2 coats of Zoya Ryan (press sample), and Zoya Tomoko PixieDust on my pinky. I stamped with Konad White, and topped everything off with Seche Vite topcoat. The stripes on my pinky were done with striping tape.

SpaRitual: Arroyo

As you know a few months ago SpaRitual sent me a few colors from their Fall Collection, Wander. (I reviewed those here). I fell in love with Arroyo from that collection, after seeing it on Instagram. And, I was lucky enough to find it on eBay. It's a gorgeous dusty pink with gold shimmer. It's supposed to dry with sort of a matte finish, but I prefer it better with a topcoat because the shimmer pops. This is two coats, plus Seche Vite topcoat.

China Glaze Release & Orly Mirrorball.

One of my cousins sent me an Amazon gift card for my birthday, so I ended up getting two nail polishes with it. China Glaze Release, and Orly Mirrorball. Release is from The Giver CollectionOrly Mirroballis part of the Holiday 2014 Collection.

I decided to pair them together for this manicure. Release is a purple gray cream. Formula was really nice, not runny at all. China Glaze can sometimes be hit or miss, but this is a hit! Two coats, plus Seche Vite topcoat.

Orly Mirrorball, has a silver linear holographic base, with small holographic glitters throughout, so it looks like it's twinkling. Formula is sheer, but builds up to opaque in 3 coats. The linear effect isn't as strong as some of the indie holographic polishes I've seen, but it's nice for a mainstream polish.

And boo.... me contemplating doing this manicure. I was tagged to play #stopdropandselfie on Instagram, and if you know me, I just don't DO selfies very much, hehe. :-p

@ZoyaNailPolish: Utra PixieDusts Review

I have the new Zoya Ulta PixieDusts for you today. Oswin, Noir, and Arianna.

So... how are the Ultra Pixiedusts, different from the regular, and magical PixieDusts? The original Pixiedusts have a finer texture more like sand. Magical has bigger glitter, and added holographic glitters. The Ultra PixieDusts have larger chunkier glitters, but not holographic. They are all very similar looking in the bottle, due to the red glitter that is in each polish, but they are very different once on the nail.

Picture heavy, so please click below to see more!

Zoya Naturel & Naturel Deux: Ombre

One of my super sweet readers, shared this article with me a little while ago, and asked if I could try something like it, using the Zoya Naturel polishes. Since I'm in the mood for a nice palette cleanser I decided to try it out.

For this ombre manicure I've used Zoya Taylor, Rue, Bridgette from the Naturel Collection, and Zoya Madeline from the Zoya Naturel Deux Collection. I also used NYC Matte Me Crazy, I think it looks so nice and feminine and delicate with the matte topcoat.

Here's the shiny version, with Seche Vite topcoat.
Zoya: Taylor, Rue, Bridgette, Madeline.
